What is SELF with Bambi about?

SELF with Bambi is a unique dance studio that provides non-competitive, inclusive dance and movement classes in a welcoming atmosphere. While instructing and choreographing  proper and safe dance and performance moves to suit each individuals current abilities as they grow into their goals, each class has four focuses:

S- Self Discovery and Self Appreciation

E- Embracement and Inclusion

L- Liberation of Mind and Body

F- Fitness and Flexibility

What's welcomed at SELF with Bambi?

All humans regardless of age or abilities are welcome in our classes; whether you are looking to try something new or have been dancing for years. If certain accommodations are needed please let Miss Bambi know upon registration. Some classes may be more suitable for certain students over others and will be discussed between instructor and student/guardian as we all get to know each other a little better through dance. As we continue to grow this dance company more options will become available.

What's not welcomed at SELF with Bambi?

Absolutely no bullying or hate of any kind is tolerated at any SELF with Bambi classes, performances, events, or meet ups. Participating in such behavior can result in banishment from establishment. Also, contagious sickness is not welcomed. Many students have compromised immune systems. If you are sick please stay home.

Required Attire-

Sensory sensitivity is acknowledged and as long as the student is comfortable, able to move around easily and safely, and private areas of the body are covered all attire is welcomed. Dance shoes are not required but encouraged and if socks alone are worn, heels must be revealed to limit slipping.

About Bambi Brittell-

I began my dance education in 1987 and have been instructing multiple styles of dance (ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, tumbling, tap, etc) for the last 20+ years. I opened my own studio in 2013 that rapidly flourished then closed in 2020 due to COVID. My vision and desire for a unique and truly inclusive dance studio grew and in April 2023 all things aligned to start classes.

 Being the mother of four and working with the differently abled population has given me a unique insight and the ability to offer sensory sensitive dance classes that can meet each individuals needs to achieve goals. I also realize there is a deficit in the community for non-competitive inclusive dance class options, which I strive to offer.  I am delighted to share my knowledge and love for dance and humans through all my classes and to each and every one of my students. 

 

Giving Back-  I strive to unite our community by giving back, providing a welcoming environment and opportunities for others,  and hosting drives and fundraiser through recitals. Tuition and Payments-

 Tuition for Spring 2025 is as follows-

Tuition can be paid either upfront by 1/16/25 for the whole semester of $360 per student, $180 if an adult or $1080 if a household with three or more students OR with two payment dates for the spring semester of $180 per student, $90 per adult or $540 for household with 3 or more students due on January 16th and April 16. Invoices will be sent a week prior and if payment is not received in the 10 day period following the due date a $30 late fee will be added to your account and possibly not allowed to return to class until paid in full. Accepted forms of payments are cash, check, Zelle, and Cash App. If you want to pay online you can click on you invoice and pay via PayPal or any major credit card.
